If I'm in …moreI've found the best way to deal with writer's block is to read. Usually, I'll start off by reading some of what I've most recently written. If I'm in the middle of a chapter, I'll start reading from the beginning of that. Often enough that gets me past the block. If I'm still stuck then I plan on walking away from the project for the day. I'll read another book for a bit or watch some TV. If the creativity isn't flowing I usually don't push it. It'll come in time.(less)

I know that's the common answer, but if you don't enjoy reading I don't think you'll enjoy writing. Especially because you'll read and reread and rereread everything you write until your eyes melt.(less)

Hello Everyone!

I'm glad to be here on Goodreads, but this is actually my second time. I'm a horror author, and I've published books under 2 names. My pen name is Linus Locke, and I've written two books and a couple short stories with that name. My real name, of course, is D.L.
