When I'm starting a new book, I generally let the characters tell the story. I may start out with a general situation in mind, but once the main characters begin to take shape they take over the direction the storyline will go. The series I am working on now began with a short scene where the female lead becomes frustrated with a woman who is the epitome of a ditzy female. That one scene turned into a three book series.
I can't wait to see what the characters have in mind.(less)

I would close my eyes and envision what Dylan or Jenni Lynn would do in a given situation. From there, I would imagine the possible outcomes and choose my favorite.(less)
