Alright, sadly not much of an update to be had this week. I’ve been going through book 2 of Embers of War (Forged in Conflict), and I’ve been speeding up a bit. We’ve had a lot of visitors last week, though, and have a couple of days with another this week, which is slightly slowing me down. Plus I got distracted by reading a story, so… yeah. That happened.

Hopefully I’ll have a better update next week!

Echoes of Chaos has been out for a week, and I’m quite happy with how it’s been doing so far! If you’ve enjoyed it, I’d deeply appreciate it if you left reviews, as it helps indies like me significantly. Especially on sites other than Amazon, since it’s my first new release on other storefronts.

As I state in my other post, the ebook will release early on my FourthWall store as well. I’ve opened the file for orders, but it will be sent to readers via BookFunnel on March 30th, one week before the public release.

Alright, Echoes of Chaos is complete, formatted, and submitted to the distributors for its April 6th release date across the storefronts I have available. I’ll be giving earlier access via My Fourthwall Store, so that’s an option. I’ll be putting it up on March 30th there (at whatever time I click the switch, I couldn’t find a way to schedule it), and will be sending it out to Patrons the Master+ tiers on March 23rd via My Patreon.

I have the manuscript of Echoes of Chaos back from the editor! It took longer than expected because they wanted to do a second pass over it, but this is well within the time I’d set aside for it. This week I expect to go through it and prepare it to upload on all the sites where it’ll be published, as well as sending it to Podium. I only expect that to take a few days.

First, the good news! My editor is mostly through Echoes of Chaos, and I expect to get the edited version back in the next few days, depending on their schedule. It’ll definitely be ready in time for the April release, so we’re on-track there!

I’ve finished my final editing pass on Echoes of Chaos, and it’s off to the editor. After editing I cut a few thousand words, but that’s all. That puts it at approximately 155,000 words, which I’m pretty happy with. I expect to get back the edited version in the next week and a half or so, but the release date of April 6th is going to stay where it is. That’ll give plenty of time for Podium to get started on their part, and for me to set up sales via other channels.
