As you might suspect, Sandy Pants is a pen name. I wanted something easy for people to remember,so permit me to hide in my pants for awhile. Also, the opening event in "Revenge for the Dogs" is based on something that actually happened to me and the bad guy is still around.
I was a "teen reporter" for my town's newspaper for a couple of years in high school. That was when my need for the truth began to battle with my desire to entertain. After all, like time, the truth is relative. I present alternative realities in my books and seem to expect the reader to accept them as the truth.
