One night while I was laying in bed, I looked up in the sky and saw some strange lights. The were high up in the sky and far away leaving me unable to make out any significant details aside from their colors. The lights moved strangely, unlike a plane or even a helicopter. I laid there and watched in awe for several minutes as the lights danced around in the sky.

A couple of weeks later, we visited my hometown and I went to see my best friend Bryan. As Bryan and I talked, I mentioned the strange lights in the sky. He gasped and commented that he had seen them too. He proceeded to describe what he witnessed without me saying a word and what he described was almost identical to what I had seen. Somehow, despite being separated by a distance of 60-80 miles between our houses, we had each observed the same strange lights in the sky.

We never figured out what it was that we saw. Some might say we shared a UFO experience and I guess in the technical sense of the term they would be right. For us, whatever those lights were, they were definitely unidentified, flying, and objects. If one was so inclined, they could take that mysterious event and expand it to create a variety of stories.(less)

2025 - The Year Lost
