The kids would go to sleep with their binkies and wake up sans binkies. No matter how hard we looked, they were never recovered. It became a running joke in our home that we either had pacifier stealing trolls living in the walls or a ghost with a fetish for binkies. I've often wanted to weave a tale about one of those options. Perhaps, a short story is in the near future.(less)
