Ο Δημήτρης Τσολάκης γεννήθηκε στην Έδεσσα το 1995. Σπούδασε ιστορία και αρχαιολογία, και έκανε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην ειδική αγωγή και στη διαπολιτισμική εκπαίδευση. Το πρώτο του μυθιστόρημα, Πέφτουν αστέρια, κυκλοφόρησε το 2017 από τις εκδόσεις Απόπειρα, ενώ κείμενά του έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε λογοτεχνικά περιοδικά (Fractalart, Kissmygrass, Amagi, Χάρτης κ.ά.).

Η νουβέλα Σαν αεράκι είναι το δεύτερο βιβλίο του.
