I was advised to read this book by my tutor, for the structure the author employs. I’m glad I did. Its a good story told in a clever way. I think a way that demands a re-read to gain the full landscape. I enjoyed this.

This was an enjoyable read from a new author to me. Very much in the style of P. G. Woodhouse and that era. Funny if predictable but moved along at a good pace. Glad I read it.

So much in this second read that I didn’t catch the first time. Nabokov playing with the english language, Proust, Poe, Larkin. Still cannot believe he got this published.
