Born in 1960, Stephanie Cassatly was raised as an expatriate in South America and Asia due to her father’s work. While traversing different continents, her Cuban father and Italian mother introduced her to rich landscapes and peoples, deepening her world view and creating a lifelong wander lust. She is a writer, teacher, mother and wife, not necessarily always in that order. Her writing was born out of a desire to make sense of her own life and its unique twists and turns, seeking to explore the mysteries in life that are seemingly greater than ourselves.
