I usually like to do something unrelated to writing to take my mind off of my current project. After a little while, I jump right back in. The second strategy is to write (either practice or on my current project) to get back in the groove. When I do this, I know I'm not producing the most quality work and I most likely will scrap it, but it's what gets me back on track. What works for me may not work for everyone, but I recommend doing whatever works for you to get past writer's block. It's something inevitable, so getting through it is an important skill.(less)
