'The Man from the Future' Errata
With many apologies to those kind enough to buy the original Penguin hardback of 'The Man from the Future', there were errors which were corrected in all future editions, including the Norton hardback and paperback. I've published a list of corrections on my Substack at this link and will update if necessary.

AMA on Reddit!

Hi there,
I'll be on Reddit answering questions on Wednesday, 23rd November at 10pm UK/5pm ET/2pm PT!
There's countdown to the AMA, here, where you can also set yourself a reminder if you like.
Here's the Reddit post...
Hi Reddit!
I’ve been a science journalist for almost two decades but 'The Man from the Future’' is my first book—and it’s now an Amazon science book of the year!
I first came across JVN during a high school computer science class. We were learning about the von Neumann architecture, the standard design for almost all computers today. But his name’s come up repeatedly since then—even more so recently and in wildly different contexts.
I knew right from the get-go I didn’t want to write a standard biography. Instead, I focus on his ideas, which helped seed the modern world.
So please do ask me about Johnny, math, science journalism, writing books or pretty much anything.
Cheers!
