There may be times when I have rested more, ate better, or spent more time thinking about what I am working on and so the writing is easier or at the very least needs less editing. But even if what I write sucks and I have to edit it to death later, I am always able to write something. And I think it is better to allow myself to write badly than to stare at a screen waiting for something good to magically appear. (less)

In no other craft are you encouraged to not only find your inner monsters but to name them, give them back stories, motivations, schemes, and load them with really neat and horrific powers.
