Let’s take a brief break from Devastated… please let me introduce you to Desolated, Book 2 of the Slaughtered Souls Series. I have a tentative date of October-ish… Halloween fun, right?[image error]
Excerpt:
“Hey!” A familiar voice calls from down the beach.
“Oh my god! Marco, it’s him.” I whisper.
“Go inside.”
I quickly stand and begin heading toward the house. Liam is closing in on us. His clothes, the same ones he wore my first day in the hospital, are covered in grime and riddled with holes. His hair is a greasy mess, like he hasn’t showered in weeks. Something is wrong with him. He’s walking with a limp.
“Stop, Annie!” Liam shouts at me.
“Keep going, bella!”
Anxious nerves ball in my stomach, souring it and freezing my limbs. My mind acknowledges and wants to obey Marco. My body won’t cooperate. Liam is sprinting in my direction. My legs won’t move. My eyes wide, I prepare for impact.

Another Excerpt Devastated, Book 1 of the Slaughtered Souls Series
How about another EXCERPT and some teasers?
The ceiling tile lifts higher. The eyes, and whoever’s body they belong to, come down into my room. In a slinking, sliming motion, like the coagulated blood in my dream, it drips to the end of my bed.
I recoil further, slamming my body into the wall. The ghostly figure hovers over me. It’s skinless body not resembling anyone at all. Its claws reach out.
“Give in to me.” The eerie whisper sends shivers through my body and still I can’t react.
My chest and arm being to ache. I gasp for air. My lungs are burning and no longer working. My heart feels like it’s being ripped from beneath my sternum. I clutch at my shirt. My body thrashes on the cot until I’m flat on my back. I can’t breathe. Suffocation shrivels my lungs to deflated sacks. Involuntary spasms begin to take over. I lay helpless, paralyzed of any movement. Seizing. My arms and legs kick and flex, my toes curl. I’m mentally relocating any oxygen I can, pulling from everywhere trying to kick start my air intake. I try to scream out for help and can only manage a loud gurgling noise.

This is my first London Michelle story and it won’t be my last. This is the first book in the Wine Tasting series.
The Wine Tasting series is a fast paced, erotic tale of Ryker and Giselle. The books are short stories and can easily be read in one sitting.
Giselle’s parents are divorced and her father is remarried and living a good life. Her mother struggles to get by, which causes Giselle to be angry at her father. She is not happy when she is told to visit her father’s house for the last week of summer. Until she meets Ryker, her stepmother’s nephew. The attraction between Giselle and Ryker is quick and steamy.
This was an amazing read. Kept me entertained and wanting more. I look forward to the next book to see what happens next.

The Wine Tasting series is a fast paced, new adult erotic tale of Ryker and Giselle. The books are very short and can easily be read in one sitting. This review is for the first two parts in the series. The story moves along quickly and the romance blossoms within a few days of meeting one another. Although the romance side of things happens almost instantly, I have enjoyed the story thus far.
Giselle has a wicked step mother who won’t let her do much of anything and makes life difficult whenever possible. Giselle’s step mother and father try to keep her away from Ryker. They keep their relationship a secret from their family, Ryker is Giselle’s step mother’s nephew. Their romantic relationship is forbidden by Giselle’s father but they find a way to be together and sneak in time for one another. The stories end somewhat abruptly and I’m interested to see how this story pans out for Giselle and Ryker. Due to its content, I’d recommend this story for mature readers. This is a great story for those looking for straight to the point erotic romance!

This was truly a romantic story I really enjoyed from the first page, something tells me this author was going to give a wonderful story. I was hooked from there, and I loved how she made the story intimate, and able to pull me on. I love it!

Devastated isn’t your typical happy go lucky, read easy as you please story. It’s gritty, it gets downright mean and you can’t help but feel for Annabelle. I went through not liking her at all, thinking she was a spoiled little brat to feeling sorry for her as she gets pushed and prodded, to pulling for her by the end of the story. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for book 2 as Annabelle grew so much as a person and a character. The story line is great. The trials that Annabelle endures to become that stronger person were steeped in sadness. The authors writing is wonderful. She pulls that emotion from you. Any time you “feel” for a character, that’s great writing! So many questions my mind threw at me while I was reading.. I kept reading and reading to see what happens next, who’s HIM, why now, what about Liam…so on and so on…perfectly leading, wonderfully written to keep you flipping pages. The ending…yes, it’s a series. Are you left with a huge cliffy? NO. What you are left with is MORE questions…. Book 2 better not be far off… js

I was so excited when I received this book. Finally, a full length novel from one of my favorite indie authors! This book did not disappoint me at all.
The first half of the book follows the life of Annabelle. She goes through huge changes in her life, the biggest being her move from her home in Georgia to her new place in Florida. With the move comes lots of changes. She gets bullied at school and you really

get a good sense of how she is feeling. London Michelle outdid herself with this one! The writing and description leaves enough to the imagination but it also gives you a great feel for the character. You can’t help but sympathize with her. I can’t imagine that there are kids out there that get bullied but it does happen and it is so horrible.
The second half of the book threw me for a surprise. I wasn’t expecting such a paranormal twist but I love it. I was so engaged into the story, I could not put it down, next thing I know – I had already finished the book!
There are a ton of mature scenes and this book is meant for adult readers. That being said, I recommend this book. You go in thinking one thing and you feel like it’s just an average angtsy teen novel but then you get thrown for an unexpected loop. I’ll be sitting here, anxiously awaiting the next in this series.
