Why A Writer's Path?
I love my family too much not to leave a legacy behind.
I guess, writing, to me, would be that perfect path to take. I could say that it is just this crazy, sentimental me, choosing this trail, in leaving a footprint or two to my family to remember me by.
I hope that through my books, they would be able to hear me, a little here and a little there in the different part of my published works. In a way, I will always be with them in a different but concrete ways.
A beautiful song by Billy Joel - Goodnight, My Angel came to mind when I thought about my path as a writer, particularly in the part when he sang; "And if you sing this lullaby, Then in your heart, There will always be a part of me."
I do hope that this journey that I have taken allows me to be a part of their heart through my works.
