First Book Released on Mother's Day 2017
The Veil was the second book which I completed after I decided to write in 2016. I had wanted it ready for Month of Autism in April 2017 and decided to leave my first book, of a different genre, in the backburner. However, I did not manage to get the book ready for release in April and decided to target the publication on Mother's Day. It was, in a way, perfect timing as I was able to dedicate this book to all mothers in the world. To me, mothers are angels that God fashioned for our little ones.
My second child was diagnosed with Autism when he was 18 months old. He is 13 and still non-verbal. However, I just want to say that he had been beautiful and extraordinary in many ways, bringing joy, tears, and laughter into our lives. He brought out the best in Ann, his mother, and his other siblings. The Veil is about him, just as it is about the heroic act of love of the family for our beloved Keefer.
I hope that you would find this novel a pleasure to read, just as I had in writing the Novel.

Why A Writer's Path?
I love my family too much not to leave a legacy behind.
I guess, writing, to me, would be that perfect path to take. I could say that it is just this crazy, sentimental me, choosing this trail, in leaving a footprint or two to my family to remember me by.
I hope that through my books, they would be able to hear me, a little here and a little there in the different part of my published works. In a way, I will always be with them in a different but concrete ways.
A beautiful song by Billy Joel - Goodnight, My Angel came to mind when I thought about my path as a writer, particularly in the part when he sang; "And if you sing this lullaby, Then in your heart, There will always be a part of me."
I do hope that this journey that I have taken allows me to be a part of their heart through my works.
