Ryan’s Recent Updates

Ryan Rench is on page 152 of 502 of The Letter to the Colossians (New International Commentary on the New Testament: I thought McKnight was doing the best with the Col. 1:15-17 portion, but then I read NIVAC and Garland wins! But... this text from McKnight was absolutely moving too! NICNT is more technical, but I appreciated the specificity and careful study of the words... and then bringing it all to the worship of Christ! So good!

Ryan Rench is on page 90 of 402 of Colossians, Philemon: Absolutely inspired writing. Garland's treatment of Col 1:15–17, especially in the application section, is just incredible. It's moving. I wish everyone would know CHRIST like this. I'm bypassing caveats and just saying that this portion is wonderful.
