How do you deal with writer’s block?

Michaela Mills I write. Even if I'm not writing the current story—the only way I can break through a block is to write something. Sometimes I'll skip to a different …moreI write. Even if I'm not writing the current story—the only way I can break through a block is to write something. Sometimes I'll skip to a different part of the book to write, sometimes I'll work on something completely different. For me, Writer's Block usually happens due to one of two things:
1) Stress
2) A short-term creative stall due to working on the same thing for too long

If I know it's stress, I try to de-stress (key word there being try LOL). But it's usually #2. And the only thing that works to re-spark those creative juices is to write something that invigorates the creative side of my mind.(less)
