Giveaway
Win one of 5 copies of my new book, "My Name is Rebecca: A Novelette."
This is the story of a man and his sons who left their home in Russia in the early 1900s to escape religious persecution. Accompany them on their journey to America.
"My Name is Rebecca: A Novelette" is historical fiction. But it is a story that is similar to those of us whose families came to America in search of a better life. It is a story about the importance of family and traditions.
I wrote this novelette as a tribute to families like mine. Included are some of the stories that I heard while growing up. Follow me on my website to learn what those stories were.

New Giveaway
My new giveaway started today. "My Name is Rebecca: A Novelette" is a special story. Historical fiction, it is written as a tribute to all of those who came to America in the early 1900s for a better life. Follow the Geshler family on their voyage from Russia (in steerage), through the process of Ellis Island, living in the Lower East Side in New York, and finally, settling in Wisconsin.
For those whose families came during that era, you will get a vivid picture of Ellis Island and the Lower East Side. It doesn't matter where they came from or who they were, our families went through the same process for the same reason--a better life.
Win one of 30 signed copies and a book mark that complements the cover. As a side note, the cover on the book is of my mother, taken in 1931 when she was 4 years old.
Good luck.
