Sequel Update and Inspirational gifts
I hope everyone had a Happy and Peaceful Thanksgiving. And now--Hanukah and Christmas are quickly approaching.
If you won a copy of "When Shadows Linger," I hope that you've had the time to read it. I'm busy working on a sequel. If you haven't read it, you have some time to do so.
For the readers on your list, please consider my books as gifts. "When Shadows Linger" is perfect for the holiday season. It is a book of hope, inspiration, and love. The setting is Vermont--and there are lovely holiday and winter scenes in the book.
Also meant to be inspirational is "Envelopes of Hope," a novelette about a young girl changing her life and getting out of the dark world of drugs.
And "My Name is Rebecca: A Novelette," is the story of a family leaving Russia in the early 1900s to escape religious persecution. It is meant to be a tribute to all immigrants who have come, and are still coming, to America for a better life.
The books are all available on Amazon.
Follow me on my website to stay informed about what I'm up to.
Take care.
Phyllis

Free Historical Fiction
Free on March 27th and March 28th--"My Name is Rebecca" is the story of a father and his sons who emigrated from Russia to the United States in the early 1900s, living in New York and then settling in Wisconsin. The reader accompanies the family as they leave behind their homeland to escape persecution and poverty, searching for religious freedom and a better life. They bring not only their beliefs and traditions to America, but they also bring the story of their family to hand down to future generations. Based on the story of my mother’s family, it is dedicated to all who have come to America for a better life, which is all of our families. Although the book is historical fiction, there are true stories included. (As a side note, the photo on the cover is of my mother taken in 1931 when she was four years old.).
