Kimberly Miles, M.A. received a B.A. with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.A. in Art History from George Washington University. While an M.A. candidate she was awarded a Smithsonian Institution Fellowship to pursue her research in American art and culture.

When her health failed thirty years ago, she was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. Kim became passionate about natural health and healing as she set out to find the root cause of her symptoms. Her research led Kim to become a student of natural health, nutrition and mind-body techniques. The majority of the work is to get into alignment with the love and joy that is really who you are. I have to prepare and get myself into the space to write. I never force it.
I am working on getting my body and brain as healthy as possible. Organic whole foods, (proteins, good fats & carbs), being well hydrated, getting plenty of sleep, gentle exercise and sunshine and fresh air are a must for me. Connecting with nature and having nurturing and nourishing relationships help as well.
I had writer's block for 30 years due to the brain fog and memory loss I experienced. Writing for me is a sacred art to be treated with love and respect. Now that I have my creativity back, I will always do everything possible to protect it!(less)
