“If my investigation into my mother’s past had taught me anything, it was that no one can really understand the whole of a person. In many ways, my mother, my father—the people I was closest to, the people who meant the most to me—were strangers. Beautiful strangers.”
Elizabeth Klehfoth, All These Beautiful Strangers

Elizabeth Klehfoth, All These Beautiful Strangers

“With everything that had happened with my mother, I realized how important the stories that we tell about one another are. The stories we tell can change the way we see one another, can even change the way we see the world. I wanted to tell those stories; I needed to tell them.”
Elizabeth Klehfoth, All These Beautiful Strangers
