Jones Point was a good read- especially because I live in Alexandria. When you wrote that Landry is an ICBM, I wondered if you've read Louise Penny's books. Her characters are sometimes "FINE" (F**ked up, Insecure, Neurotic, and Egotistical)? Curious minds and all that. Now I'll look for your earlier books.
