Alternate Peace Anthology

I've read several of the anthologies produced by Zombies Needs Brains and enjoyed all, but this one didn't quite live up to the other ones. There are some good stories here, yet I wasn't quite as fulfilled as with the other anthologies.

I enjoyed the book, but wasn't all that thrilled with it - if that makes sense. It's an interesting concept: would you explore your alternate lives if you could? If you made a differrent decision regarding X, what might that life look like? ...more

A good story. I like the characters and the conclusion. However, I still think Meilin constantly going through the self-doubt circle is overplayed.

I liked the story and the characters, but have an issue with Meilin constantly having self-doubts. Feels like every decision may be good or may be bad. We all have self-doubts, but I feel this is overplayed here.

One helluva read. Whilst there are some people who still deny or celebrate the Holocaust, you cannot read this book without a better understanding of what many experienced. It's a poignant reminder that we should defy and deny anyone who attempts to ...more
