I would have published this book years ago if I didn't listen to some negative folks around me who validated my own tendency to doubt the value of my own writing. Rising above self-criticism and publishing this book was one of best things I ever did. Be strong, be positive, and never doubt the beauty of your work.

Short stories enable me to explore many different characters, plot …moreI'm taking a break from novel writing by assembling a collection of short stories. Short stories enable me to explore many different characters, plot lines, settings, themes, etc. without committing to the lengthy process of developing a novel. That being said, short stories don't offer the same level of escape into an alternate reality that a novel gives. (less)

Winter 2018 Update

- I had a lot of fun around Halloween doing readings in libraries. Many thanks to the folks in Jefferson, Brunswick, and Boothbay Harbor, ME as well as my hosts in Winchendon, Westminster, and Fitchburg, MA.
- "Prayers for Evil" finished up a successful discount e-book promotion. Thank you to everyone who bought a copy. Although sales are great, I'd love to get more reviews on Amazon (hint,hint!).
