Anger-Danger-Stranger What's in a word?
Words have always fascinated me. Take the word ANGER for example, add just one letter and it becomes DANGER. Add two different letters and you get STRANGER.
Remember, the 'Stranger Danger' meme started to teach kids to trust their gut instincts. When I see the words 'stranger danger'- I see a dark image of someone in a trench coat (if only they could be that obvious). Maybe it's from watching too many Roadrunner cartoons, but when I see the words 'anger danger', I'm picturing someone holding a lit stick of dynamite- you can tell by the whites of their eyes- they're getting ready to B-L-O-W (so you better stay away from hot heads).
In my book, Tunnel of Time, there are no 'Stranger Danger' type threats as we know them, but there are plenty of situations where three sisters must learn to trust their gut instincts. They find themselves in lots strange situations with people they've only read about.
Come along and hop onto the roller coaster of a ride through the Tunnel of Time. You'll be glad you did (and you may find you want to stick around a bit longer). Let me know what you think when (or if ) you get out.

Coming soon.....
I am so thrilled to have become a Goodreads Author! My debut book, Tunnel of Time is a middle grade story set to be released on December 1, 2017. It's the story about three sisters that spend way more time together than they ever thought! They're stuck in the Tunnel of Time, and every time they think they're joining their family back at the County Fair, they end up in another place and time and meet some pretty incredible people along the way. I hope you will mark it as a 'Want to Read' here on Goodreads, and leave a review after you've finished reading.
Tunnel of Time started out as a NaNoWriMo project in November 2013. I love NaNoWriMo (NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth) because it almost forces me to write everyday. To complete the challenge, one must write 50,000 words in November. After the initial work was completed, it took many, many re-writes and editing thanks to the wonderful critiques of my local Writers Group.
Stay tuned..... I always have plenty to say, but not always enough time to say it.
