Freedom Calling - Civil War Ghost Photography? Real or Fraud? Spooky!

In the Spirit of Halloween!

CIVIL WAR GHOSTS? Real Photos or FRAUD? Spooky!

Civil War-era photographer, Walter Mumler claimed the spirits of Civil War dead could be seen in his photographs of family members, like this photo (click on link below), taken of Mary Todd Lincoln with the "ghost" of husband, Abe, behind her.

Mrs. Lincoln was a faithful client of Mumler's. She had lost 3 of her 4 children AND her husband. In Mumler's "photographs" of her, one of her deceased loved ones always showed up,... lovingly beside or behind her.

Freedom Calling - Captain's Cabin Aboard Ship - The Lady Grey

ABOARD THE SHIP - CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS
Book Excerpts
"The captain went into his cabin to the nook lined with rolls of nautical charts. Bent over the large map spread out on the map table, he traced our plotted route and pointed to our present location...."

Check out this typical New England ship interior
http://penobscotmarinemuseum.org/pbho...

It is a typical interior of a New England barque. The design and furnishings of Freedom Calling's whale ship, the LADY GREY, would have been very much like this.

The captain's cabin was located in the aft-most section of the ship. A bank of large, paned windows lined the stern-side gallery that, by day, bathed the cabin in rays of bright, sunny light and silvery moonlight by night.

How amazing it would be,... to be seated at the chart table with the beautiful panorama of azure blue sky and cobalt sea receding behind you!
