Many books I have read with a Texas setting, I just could not stomach. They were always trying too hard to appear "southern" and "loud" and "obnoxious" and just too, shall I dare say, "Dallas"?? I have had to put down so many books, because I just couldn't not see the effort. Before reading your bio, I could already tell. Here is an author that actually knows small town Texas. Thank! you!
