Originally born in Argentina to German immigrants, Rex Hurst was kidnapped by narco-terrorists and sold to a Satanic drug cult in Matamoros, Mexico. There he was subjected to various humiliations and would have been sacrificed in a blood ritual if not for the timely intervention of the Mexican police. He was evacuated to family in Montana, where he obtained his bachelors in Fermentation Sciences and a masters in Philosophy. When not writing, he runs a small vineyard with his wife and six children.

A Female Slave Fights Off Her Master- A True Slave Narrative

The Federal Writers Project was a make-work initiative by the Federal Government under Roosevelt during the Great Depression. It’s purpose was to give employment to out-of-work writers.

Among its various projects, one of the most notable was its Slave Narrative Collection which interviewed surviving former slaves. It resulted in over 2,000 interviews and close to 10,000 pages of materials.

Never Ending TBR: The Bram Stoker Awards 10 32 Feb 27, 2023 06:11PM
Phil Hine
“Sex and magic are intertwined experiences—sex is one kind of magic (and can be made more magical without being concerned with sex-magic at any point), and magic can be, while erotic and arousing, not necessarily sexual in the way that is often understood. There is a commonly-held belief that those who practice sex-magic are indulging themselves in wild orgiastic rites at every opportunity. This is rarely the case. After all, if you need to go through lots of occult rigmarole just to get laid, then you're a bit sad, aren't you? Then again, the occult subculture is full of SAD people, desperate to finally get laid and attempting to turn to sex-magic as a last resort.”

James Moushon Hi.

I’d like to introduce myself. Besides being the author of the Jonathon Stones Mystery Series, I am a strong Author's Advocate. I write articles highlighting other authors books. Also, I do author interviews and post them on my blogs. Thanks for friending me.
