How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jenna Brett So far, that has rarely been a problem for me. That said, when I am feeling *rusty*, I find that listening to cheesy 1970's pop music will get my brai…moreSo far, that has rarely been a problem for me. That said, when I am feeling *rusty*, I find that listening to cheesy 1970's pop music will get my brain moving in the story-telling direction. I also -- very consistently -- write better and more swiftly with a soundtrack of Renaissance choral music (Thomas Tallis is a favorite) on my headphones. There's something very meditative about that music which opens my mind to fluid writing. (less)
