Reem N. Alomari is a writer and poet, based in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She discovered her passion for writing and story-telling back in university, in the year of 2014.

Attempts to write a book have been made, friends have begged, but she never had the courage to publish until June of 2017. Since then, she's been working hard to bring Between The Stars into fruition, and finally on her 24th birthday, Reem (It's still weird that I'm talking about myself in the third person) did it!

She has a lot of people to thank for, and so she hopes to pay it forward, by continuing to publish works of poetry and fiction, to inspire people and to help make a difference in whatever capacity.

She was reading my poetry from my note's app on my phone. And it occurred to me that she was taking more time than it should to respond which made me a little anxious. "So?" I pushed. "Thoughts?"

Her answer was that she didn't know what she's been feeling lately, she couldn't put to words what kind of thoughts were taking up space in her mind, that is until somehow, someway my words gave her the missing perspective she was searching for.

She immediately begged me to publish my poetry. I was afraid of publishing because I didn't think I had a theme when it came to my words. To me, they were random collection of fictional scenes, thoughts and black-out poetry.

"So? Maybe your theme could be that you don't have one."

And something clicked. I remember thinking, what if I did publish a book? What if somehow my words were able to resonate with someone else out there? Even if it was just one more person.

Excitement started to bubble inside me, thoughts about what the book cover would like, the things I had to do when I got back home.

I immediately, purused through my poems and got rid of the really dark ones, kept the ones I thought were good enough and wrote some more until eventually I published over 50 poems in BTS.(less)

Reem N. Alomari is on page 164 of 1030 of Alchemised: I have thoughtttsss!!!! Spoiler: SPOILER! why’s Ferron obviously trying to hide that he cares for her? And who’s Lancaster?! 😭 and the new years party 😭 Ferron snapping necks! all quick snaps, with no remorse! My theory: Ferron was forced. He was dying inside. Maybe its the pills that make it easier for him. Also. I think he loved Helena before she lost her memories!

Family of Liars by E. Lockhart
"Underwhelmed. I liked the writing, very lyrical and engaging, I expected a more shocking plot though and for some reason all the twists fell a little flat for me. I like to think though, this confirmed a lot of my theories."
