edit data

Alison Diem is a writer of intricate stories involving history, the paranormal, adventure, magic, mystery, murder, fantasy, steampunk, creatures that may (or may not) be real and any combination thereof. Also, dragons.

She admires the work of many and has learned much from every book she’s ever read, even the really, really bad ones. Especially the really, really bad ones.

She does not like Twilight. At all.

She lives in Ypsilanti, MI with her husband, Bear, and her daughter, Little Bear.

She is also very, very tall. You know, for a girl.

New, FREE, (Micro) Short Stories Available to Read!

I’ve added a series of micro-short stories to the site, on a new page, for everyone’s reading pleasure.

These stories came out of a weekly writing group I’ve joined, after listening to a poem and getting a brief prompt to set me off. I mention that, if only to explain the variety of topics and themes that

Alison’s Recent Updates

Alison Diem is on page 38 of 384 of Star Shipped: Ngl, this is exactly what I need to fill the AO3 outage void I'm currently experiencing. It is very clear that Simon does need to get his anxiety meds adjusted. I'm very concerned about him. Also, I'm not thrilled with how mean he is to Charlie. I am not saying that I think Simon's feelings about Charlie are invalid but some responses are just dick moves that lose him the high ground. idek Star Shipped by Cat Sebastian (Goodreads Author) progress:	Error rating book.
