Veteran Navy Photographer with degrees in Wildlife Conservation and History. Attended the University of Massachusetts and Northeastern University. Has a first wife and a last wife, and proud father of three children. Steve works as a historian in Connecticut and mourns the loss of his hair and the tip of his left middle finger. The former due to genetics, the latter due to a Bengal tiger.

Villains

While scrolling through twitter I saw a question about Villains. They asked how do you write a good villain. I have pondered this for a few days and considered the villains I feel are excellent. Many suggestions stated that the villain "thinks" they are a hero. This idea suggests that his behavior can be excused as a mental illness. It is comfortable for the reader to swallow such a flaw.
