I'm so glad you enjoyed the first book. To answer your question, yes, there will be at least three books in the series. I've mapped that far ahead. In fact, I've already completed a first rough draft of book two, so it is officially underway. Thanks!(less)

Or perhaps you still do as an adult? I still find myself building boats and jails and cars and gas stations for our towns and all kinds of stuff with my four children. It's fun to create. And borderline addicting.

That's what I love about writing. I love to create. I love to see something come to life. And just like when playing with LEGOs, sometimes you have to search and search and search for that one piece that fits just right for what you're building, but when you do find it and put it together, you feel great.

I think that's what I love about being a writer most. When I successfully bring all the pieces of my imagination together and they fit just right . . . I just love it.(less)
