Born in Lancashire, England to a Lawrence Welk-loving mum and a Monty Python-loving dad - tea drinkers all - we moved to Canada when I was seven. "Say book! Say look!" my new classmates would hound me just so they could have a good chuckle at my accent. But being incredibly shy, this was a great way for me to make friends.

My love of words and a creative imagination prompted English teachers to urge me to write for a living. My grade 12 Creative Writing teacher suggested I send a sample of my “sizzling dialogue” to the (then) three major television studios in New York City. He was convinced one of them would hire me to write for a soap opera. But, being the still-shy teenager, I didn’t have the courage to do it.

Reading a Series in Order – Yes or No?

Since my recent release of Write to Love, Book Two in the Calderone Family Romance Series, I’ve had a few readers contact me to ask if they should read the first book before they read this one.

My immediate reaction was Wait…what? You even have to ask? Of course you should read a series in chronological order. Doesn’t everybody?
