Tony Grey graduated in History and practised law in Toronto, Canada before emigrating to Australia where he founded and built Pancontinental Mining Ltd, a publicly listed diversified resource company.

He is a former director of Opera Australia and the Conservatorium of Music and a former Trustee of the Art Gallery of NSW. Also is the past Chairman of the Uranium Institute (now the World Nuclear Association). Founding director of the World Gold Council, former director of the World Nuclear Law Association. Tony is a past Chairman of the Brain Foundation and is currently on the Board.

Tony Grey was made a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2016 Australia Day Honours.

People in a small village in the Gobi desert have Caucasian features mixed with their Chinese. They believe they are the descendants of Roman soldiers who came across the Silk Road centuries ago after a big battle. They even get dressed up as Roman soldiers and march up a hill where they have build a little Roman temple. Hope

I saw a beautiful sunrise, as red as an opening tulip, after the wild storms finished harassing Australia's East Coast on that recent weekend of devastation and sorrow. The spreading light in the dark sky made me think of the wonderful but often maligned feeling of hope.
