The Hotwife Adventure - A Wife Sharing Romance Prologue by Karly VioletMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Review based on free copy. This is a normally free work of around 35 pgs and will judged as that. Author is a writer of erotica and uses her stories to pull you into the character so you will follow them into the next book. How did this work? I found it lacking.
This is a Hotwire tale with two sex scenes. The first, the private eye husband catches a straying hubby as he was hired to do. Watches sex scene and then gets caught spying. The strange way of telling? There's the girl hubby was cheating with and she goes into great detail how getting caught could screw up her life. Her dad would go nut and all. So next we have the wife's view which I found had to follow with my mind wanting to go back to her husbands view point. But the real strange way of telling this tale? The wife’s view on cheating, the second sex scene.
I have found that the people that buy hot wife stories usually want the wife to feel something major about the event. This woman was lukewarm at best, like she was going to cheat today and this guy happened to be there. Passes off her years of marriage like it was no biggie. More worried about how the sex ended than the marriage it might have ended. There was no, should I? Shouldn't I? What have I done? How can I still save my marriage? Should I save my marriage if I'm this easily led astray? The act of cheating, which is the corner stone of hotwifing and the emotional pivot point for hot wife readers, was left empty as a prostitute plowing through her work day. The first girl in the first sex scene was more wooded about getting caught than the wife was.
Overall a gave it a three because it was well written and as a free read it was all right. Just not enough to pull me into the paid story.

Book Review
Captive Couple by Laran MithrasMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
Review based on a .99 copy. I read and review erotica and found "My Wife's Seduction" free, by Laran Mithras. I found it a good sexy read. I looked at a few of the other offerings by this author believing they wrote mainly wife sharing erotica either forced or volunteered. I guess that's what I thought I would get when checking out a second book. I was looking for a steamier version of the free book seeing I was paying now, but it was only lukewarm and in a way I wasn't into.
Reading the reviews I think I had the same trouble as others, the sex scene/scenes. I like detail in my erotica with one exception, 'forced rape'. Detailed rape has gotten books banned from Amazon as it should. So then we have 'when does forced become invited?' or once you start with forced rape is invited wrong there after (only invited to keep from being hurt, invited because of mental trauma, invited because they have given up hope) like a slippery slope.
So with that being said can there be a detailed sex scene based on forced then invited rape and without detail is it just a story? This is the first issue I have, walking back and forth over the erotica line. I can live with that, with this being just another cookie cutter MC story with a weird twist.
So now I'm reviewing an MC story with an interesting plot start that involves rape. I have been in the company of more than one 1%'er MC during my time as a rock singer, even with the christian slant, if they are killing people they fit the 1%'er title no longer being a 'riding club'. Now we have my second issue, killing and rape, but you have to have God/ Jesus Christ in your heart. Killing drug dealers can be a necessary evil while still viewing yourself as a Christian MC, but not the killing of good guys (Fed's) or the raping of the innocent. The fact that it was done by the club leader makes it harder to fit in. I'll skip the whole "She sure got over her rape trauma quick because 'It felt really good' thing". So how could this have been saved and still keep the basic plot? How about making the mistake makers and rapers lower members of the club who were disciplined for their ungodly wrong doing? Maybe the leader not knowing she was a rape victim and thinking she was a club girl when he takes her. That would still keep a 'maybe' workable story line going.
All in all this is the first review that didn't sit well with me, I felt like I had started one book with one plot and jumped into another book with a different more biblical plot. The writing is done well, erotica is lukewarm, and last a feeling that - erotica, rape, wife sharing, and God/Christian values don't belong in the same story...

Diesel by Aimee-Louise FosterMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Review based on a free copy. This is a short read with 162 pages. Normally I would call this a a good number of pages with most only having 30~60. Still it reads like a short story. I have to tell you for a free book it's a heck of a deal, but there were things that kept me from hitting 5 stars.
I think it reads like a 50 page story because it has a few different POV's without digging into the meat and potatoes. Also too much is happening too soon. There is character development, but not enough to explain how she can mean so much to so many in such a short time. Also love at first site must be in the water (beer) they drink there because that is all that explains Ink's sudden change of (virginal) heart. I like a good MC read, but this has more of a romance/fantasy feel to it in parts. Still other parts seem to be very much biker. It's like it was written by two people or maybe one that flips back and forth between what would really be and what they would want it to be. Kinda hard to put your finger on.
No I can't give it 5 stars, but I would say for free it's a heck of a read if you like MC stories.

Living Without by Lila RoseMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Review based on a free copy. This is a different and dark story. I have not read the books leading up to Nary and Saxon moving forward in their relationship, but as a stand alone book it appears to be a troubled path.
First it is a good read and a well written story. The plot was given some serious thought and I'm sure worked well with the other books. What I have trouble with is the instant forgiveness of Saxon for his treatment of Nary. Sure there were reasons, but everyone seemed to accept the events and forgive him all wrongs on the spot. Not only did this sit with me like a horse pulling a corvette, but it missed a bit of relationship drama that would have played really well for many readers. There were some other points that I can't put my finger on that seemed a little off and maybe parts where the character seemed out of character for what we are lead to believe. I think that if you have been following this story through the other books this will not be an issue for you, just something for the author to think about.
I don't think you can go wrong with this read unless you are upset by the women being raped. For me it's a story and part of the plot drama, but for some it will be a deal breaker.

Three By Three: Threesomes, Three Ways by Tanya ChrisMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Review based on a free copy. This story needs to reach it's audience. That would be readers who like gay or bi male erotica. By not stating this those looking for this can't find this book. I myself read for enlightenment, and sometimes my blood gets pumping and my heart rate climbs. When I review I try not to let my likes or dislikes color the review. That said gay and bi male stories do nothing for me, doesn't turn me on and doesn't turn me off. As a straight male it's kinda like reading 20 pgs of a history book.
So the first story builds really well, I feel this is good for the shortness of the story and the Bi character isn't a big deal. So if you're looking for that you might find it lacking. Of the stories I found this the most thought out.
The rest of the stories are well written, but with varying degrees of plot. Where the first dwells on the thinking of a middle aged female and the stress of considering a threesome, The others are from a M on M point of view and how that would come about without hurt feelings. All stories cover the things that could go wrong and trying to make it just right. Thought was put into the plot points that brought about the threesomes and for short stories there was a little character development. All in all good stories and even though I didn't find myself feeling immersed in the story line, I feel someone turned on by men with men might really enjoy it. It's enough for me to check out more by this author when it cross my path again.

Hard by Lucia JordanReview based on free copy. This is normally a free work of around 32 pgs and will judged as that. Author is a writer of erotica and uses her stories to pull you into the character so you will follow them into the next book. So how did that work out? For the pages used there was ok character depth and ok plot. I felt the heat was in the warm range but not some of the authors better scenes. Had a rushed feel to me, not the story tempo but the creation of the book.
For me there needed to be a little more development from both characters for me to care where their life was heading especially with him being the bosses son and the boss like family. This was stated, but when push comes to shove seemed only a passing thought for both Hero and Heroine and if they didn't really care, why should I?
Bottom line, it's a free read written well and not full of mistakes like most free reads. There's enough plot and heat to pass your time. It's just for me I wasn't drawn into the next book and that's where the authors get paid for their time...

Book Review
Undeniable by Madeline SheehanMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Review based on a free copy of over 200pgs. OK, this is not S. O. Anarchy! This is real world sh!t. In the day I played in a touring band. During those years we played three 1%'er parties. (Was surprised book's party description didn't include a live band lol). We played for two nights, but stayed at the club house or near by motel all week before heading to the next gig.
You get to hear a lot of gossip being in the band and I have to say this book had me feeling like I was right back there again. They lived on another level than us and we were party hardy groupie lovin' hard living guys, so that's sayin' a lot. We partook of their fun, got drunk half blind, and heard about life in an MC and on a bike (They never talked about business around us!). I never felt settled until we left these gigs because literally in their life anything could happen at a moments notice and band members were ill-prepared to handle 'that' life.
It was strange, we all had roughly the same faithfulness issues with hot sexy ladies (for lack of a kind term) always hanging around and they even wanted to know what it was like to play music and party all the time without the stress of a real life.
With that insight I felt this book covered the MC life that I saw very well. It was a little intense as it had this group being hit with everything, when most clubs would only see part of this happen or all of it over multiple generations, still it's not far off.
I have to say when I read the blurb I thought "Yea, Right!", but it delivered and I think that put more than a few readers off. Real life around people who live by their own rules can be ugly, dirty, harsh, mean, smelly, and unfair. There are no "Hero's on a white horse" or "Great role models", just like life everyone has bones in their closet if they lived hard enough to get some on them. Kids born into this life have the same chance as those born with aids or born to crack families, you might not 'like' it, but it would be a fairytale without including it and I feel it was depicted well.
It's been said you either love this book or hate it, just remember the blurb "You were warned!" If you're looking for a "Don't want to get my hands dirty" biker tale, this isn't it. This is a very well written story of a life outside your own. 1%'ers live by their own code and say DILLIGAF to the rest of you. This gives you some insight into that. They have their own definition of hero's and I have to say when it comes to stone cold loyalty in the face of the abyss, I would pick them over anyone else I know. ~ Don't try to turn a blood thirsty wild lion into a house cat to make you comfortable, and don't put down authors who can keep it real.
Why Not 5 Stars Then???
(1.) I felt that when in her late 20's she sometimes read like she was still a teen in words and actions
(2.) When the book skipped forward in time it seemed rushed and abrupt. It was almost enough to pull me out of the story
(3.) (and maybe me being picky) As a rider I could have used a little 'On Bike' story coverage. From my understanding it's a BIG part of the lifestyle and for some, the wind and freedom is their first forever love

My Wildest Fantasy: Older Man Younger Woman Erotica by Kelli WolfeMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
First this review is based of a free copy of the 40 page short story. This is a well written story with a bit of a plot and is the intro to a series. For free you can't go wrong, that is if you downloaded this book looking to read an older man younger woman story. For the most part you have younger girl or boy wanting an order woman or man, or the other way around.
This is the girl wanting the older man and him trying to do the right thing. She's hot and he's handsome so it's a bit cookie cutter with no "How could he ever like a plain girl like me when he could have anyone" kinda thing. Author does a good job with the male lead painting as clear of a picture as you can in 40 pgs, but I feel the Callie character was a bit thin for me to care what happened to her in the next book. Even reading the teaser for the next story left me looking at a shallow spoiled rich girl getting her way.
There is a fair amount of heat and I feel that those who search out this gene will be more than happy and will follow this couple into the series. I rated it "I liked it", it just would have needed to hook me more to earn the "I really liked it." extra star.

What Lisa Did by Katie CramerMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Review based on a free copy. Well, that was a read. I’m not saying anything that hasn’t been said before, but since this gets posted to my blog here goes. This is a short read at 42 pgs, but the author used those pages well. She laid down a decent plot, gave you characters you could feel for, and left enough undone to sell you the next story and it was done well. I only found a couple mistakes, but not enough to take me out of the story. For free you can’t go wrong and if you get to the end and are ok with it then I’m sure the next two books will be great. I think it’s a very good read.
Now the down side and maybe a ***Spoiler*** although it’s hinted at in other reviews. The author made some believable characters than we think we know. In a situation we think we see playing out. That’s the trouble, the ending leaves you feeling like the characters change their core beliefs. ***Spoiler*** The hubby buys wife a ‘Night to Remember’ from a company that does this sort of thing for $3000. a shot. A company like this would deal with well off hubbies and more than likely their very hot looking wives. Hot enough that you would want to make sure up front that it would be only sex with men who can keep their emotions in check along with the wifes emotions, a $3000 a night company. So the ‘cock for hire’ takes now to risk everything by falling in love or whatever causes him to flip the plan? And the wife, who only loves hubby and her life with him, takes the very same moment to go along with it and turn her gift into a (love?) affair? She went from someone I was hoping would have the time of her life as a gift, to a cheap cheating wife. I know that it must play well for the next two books, but I lost faith in both the wife and the cock for hire after that. If the company is effected by word of mouth, this would sink them (pay $3000. And maybe you’ll get your wife and the video back). Not sure what to do if this is the drama that pulls you into the second book, because I feel I’m starting all over again with two people I really didn’t know.
Most like this, I feel you can’t go wrong, but some of us are put off by the ending and for me it kinda brought me out of the story...
