Mae Piper has lived in a world of make believe for as long as she can remember. As a child, she used her recess time at school to sit alone under a tree and craft worlds from rocks and blades of grass. She cut her teeth on poetry as an angsty teenager and honed her skills through fan fiction as a young adult. Now, she continues to practice her inability to live in mundane reality in a spooky little cabin in the forest of the Finger Lakes.

Plumbing her vivid imagination, myth and folklore and superstition, as well as the inspiration she still finds under trees, Mae pens tales of romance, pleasure, strong women, good men, and heaps upon heaps of magic.
