She wrote professionally for the first time in 2006 when she wrote a magazine article for a small local magazine in CT. That was the extent of her professional writing for years, even though writing was her passion. Well, at 51 she decided it's time to stop putting it off and get it done! She was born and raised in New Bedford, MA and although she has considered moving to different states over the years, she's always stayed in her hometown. The basic story for "Their Search For Ms. Right" has been in my mind for over 10 years, which you would think would make it easier. But nope! Sometimes I sit here staring at the monitor with my mind moving furiously over different ways to write a part. If anything works, I would say it's just putting it down for bit and walking away and going back to it at some point. That could be hours or a couple of days. (less)

“Do you know why this world is as bad as it is?... It is because people think only about their own business, and won't trouble themselves to stand up for the oppressed, nor bring the wrong-doers to light... My doctrine is this, that if we see cruelty or wrong that we have the power to stop, and do nothing, we make ourselves sharers in the guilt.”
Anna Sewell, Black Beauty
