We've put it up on a few websites that supposedly scout for that kind of thing, but no luck yet. If you happen to have any connections from your time in the business, I'd love for you to tell them about it. The film rights are available! Either way, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Just finished reading The Town with no Roads. Loved the story and all the characters. Look forward to reading The Five Wishes of Mr Murray Mcbride Will there be a continuing sequel or more about James Smith and Aspen?

I'm actually working on a sequel for Five Wishes right now, since that book has been much more successful and several people have wondered what those characters are up to now. It has been a lot of fun to write, but it's still missing that certain something that makes a book great. I'm hoping to find it eventually. As for a sequel for The Town with No Roads...I'd never even considered it, to be honest. But now that you put the thought in my head, it's probably inevitable that it will happen someday. If I can just figure out how to finish my current work-in-progress...

Joe Siple answered Gene Macy's question: Hello Mr. Siple, I just read the first McBride book, and I loved it. It reminded me a lot of one of my favorite books, freak the mighty. That’s what got me interested in it, and after reading it, I loved it! Was the plot for the story inspired by any true events? I know I could relate to Jason quite a bit, both with having trouble with my health growing up, and making friends who aren’t exactly in my age group.
