In some novels, I feel that a story needs to be told and the review may be a little lengthy. For others, a shorter review feels suitable enough to get my point across. In other words, there is no particular length that the review needs to attain. For most, however, I will comment on the writing style, storyline, plot, development of characters and ending. All a matter of personal preference, I submit what the narrative did for me. Good luck with your reviews and thank you for your question.(less)

Have you introduced your book to any social media sites? If you're unsure of this, I'd be happy to give you some more information about it.
While we're on the subject of reviews, I published a novella called 'Caged' about a month ago. Would you care to read it and write a review for it? If so, I'd send you a free digital copy to your email address. Thank you.(less)

"The rating is only for The Autumn Mountain. I reviewed another Short Story collection by Akutagawa here.

Ryūnosuke Akutagawa is a well known pre-war short-story writer who died too young, at the age of 35. Two of his stories had become successful mov" Read more of this review »

Anthony Doerr
“You know the greatest lesson of history? It's that history is whatever the victors say it is. That's the lesson. Whoever wins, that's who decides the history.”
Anthony Doerr, All the Light We Cannot See

Noah Hawley
“Everyone has their own path. The choices they've made. How any two people end up in the same place at the same time is a mystery. You get on an elevator with a dozen strangers. You ride a bus, wait in line for the bathroom. It happens every day. To try to predict the places we'll go and the people we'll meet would be pointless.”
Noah Hawley, Before the Fall

Richard Paul Evans
“There's a big difference between us. I write non-fiction, you write fiction. I write truths that tell lies. You write lies that tell truths.”
Richard Paul Evans, The Broken Road

Thomas Perry
“Bombs were not just weapons. They were something more, expressions of the bomber's thoughts about you, his predictions of your behavior - what you would see, even what you would think and feel. He'd staged a presentation designed to fool you. He didn't even know your name, but you were the one he was really after. Bombs were acts of murder, but they were also jokes on you, riddles the bomber hoped were too tough for you, chances for you to pick wrong when it was almost impossible to pick right.”
Thomas Perry

Dalton Trumbo
“A guy says house and he can point to a house to prove it. But a guy says come on let's fight for liberty and he can't show you liberty. He can't prove the thing he's talking about so how in the hell can he be telling you to fight for it?”
Dalton Trumbo, Johnny Got His Gun
