Nadia Raia lebt mit ihrem Partner, ihren beiden Katzen und ihrem Hund im Saarland. Sie besitzt einen Masterabschluss in Übersetzungswissenschaften.

Die Selestria-Trilogie und die dazugehörige Kurzgeschichte „Die Farbe von Asche“ sind ihre ersten veröffentlichten Werke. Außerdem ist ihre Kurzgeschichte „Wächter“ in der Spendenanthologie Aufwind für die Seele erschienen.
Neben ihren eigenen Werken sind außerdem zwei Übersetzungen aus dem Englischen von Nadia Raia erschienen:
