Sandra O’Donnell is a founding partner of RO Literary. She's been actively involved in the writing community and publishing for over twenty years.

Sandra studied writing at the graduate level at the University of Utah while working on her master’s. While there, she taught writing in the University Writing Program and learned as much from teaching as she did from her classes. After Utah, Sandra went on to ghostwrite, edit and co-author a number of books for the academic market. She also earned her Ph.D. in History from Arizona State.

I think those who struggle with writer's block are trying to write a linear book. They are going from point A to point Z in a methodical and plotting way. If you are working on a scene and it isn't coming together, write a different scene. Write a rift on the setting in your story. Interview your characters. Or, write a blog post. But write and story worrying about writer's block because all that does is create a self-fulling prophecy.(less)

I love meeting writers, learning about their stories and what they are working on and finding ways to help writers grow. I'm in two writing groups right now because I need the energy working with writers provides. Writing should never be a solitary, lonely turret experience. Find your tribe!!!
