Born in England, Beatrice de Cecil was raised in the small community of Silver End, Essex.

During her teen years, the neurological disorder epilepsy made a sudden appearance influencing all aspects of her life. It would be a major contributor to her love of books.

Reading provided an escape while she learned to cope with the condition that stayed throughout her life. It grew to a desire to write.

Years later, with the support of a loving husband her wish came true.

Beatrice lives in beautiful Alberta, Canada with her husband and devoted rottweiler doing what she always dreamed of, writing.
