I Forgot the Fragging Glossary

(and I’m not re-uploading the book)

So here I am. On the shore of my own shame.

Somewhere between formatting the manuscript, designing the cover, and triple-checking the print bleed, I forgot something kind of important:

The glossary.
You know—the part that explains all the terms I hurl at you within the first five pages of A Fierce Allegiance like a narratively over-caffeinated raccoon.

M.S.’s Recent Updates

Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
"I was confused for around 60% of this book which would normally prompt me to put it down and forget about it but for once I was fine with this. I never knew confusion could be so captivating, waiting for all my questions to be answered kept me hooked" Read more of this review »
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
"The stakes in Clockwork Prince escalate as the Shadowhunters of the London Institute must find the Magister before he destroys the Enclave and seizes control of the city. The urgency of their mission remains a constant reminder throughout the story a" Read more of this review »
We Are Green and Trembling by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara
"While I am still reading We Are Green and Trembling by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara, I have thoughts. I think the message of this book is very. I like the transgender narrative that is set in colonial times. It is not dwelled on in the book, just accepted" Read more of this review »
Believing Is Seeing by Michael Guillen
"In my opinion, this book is the best book to read for skeptics of faith or other things. While the book doesn’t go into tons of detail about everything, that is its beauty; it makes it readable and understandable to the general population. It also pu" Read more of this review »

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the road less traveled by and they CANCELLED MY FRIKKIN' SHOW. I totally shoulda took the road that had all those people on it. Damn.”

Christopher Moore
“It’s sarcasm, Josh.”

“Sarcasm?”

“It’s from the Greek, sarkasmos. To bite the lips. It means that you aren’t really saying what you mean, but people will get your point. I invented it, Bartholomew named it.”

“Well, if the village idiot named it, I’m sure it’s a good thing.”

“There you go, you got it.”

“Got what?”

“Sarcasm.”

“No, I meant it.”

“Sure you did.”

“Is that sarcasm?”

“Irony, I think.”

“What’s the difference?”

“I haven’t the slightest idea.”

“So you’re being ironic now, right?”

“No, I really don’t know.”

“Maybe you should ask the idiot.”

“Now you’ve got it.”

“What?”

“Sarcasm.”
Christopher Moore, Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ’s Childhood Pal

Patricia C. Wrede
“In fact, “talent” is as common as mud; what’s rare is the motivation to sit down and actually do something with one’s talent, the discipline to do it regularly, and the persistence to stick with it until it’s finished.”
