Love mysteries?

One of my favorite authors is Agatha Christie, which probably explains why I always like to add a little mystery to my own writings.

Did Dexter DeLange really kill Jolene's first husband? Read My Lady to find out.

Was the old Jackson ranch house actually haunted? Kada thought it was, and to her dying day, would have sworn it hated her. Laughter in the Wind hosts Kada's story.

Did Ma Tinner really kill her husband? Or did the cattle accidently stampede over the cellar? Questions from Goodbye, Belvidere (A Hundred and Sixty Acres)

What about the mystery behind Joanna's strange behavior in Goodbye, Belvidere (His Eye Is on the Sparrow)?

Why would Lizzie Tinner have her brother's body dug up? Ask her in the final book of the Belvidere trilogy---Goodbye, Belvidere (I much love you)!

Out and about

I've spent a lot of the month of November getting to meet my readers. It is a special time, and I enjoy it immensely. The surrounding communities have great craft fairs, which provides the opportunity to meet and greet folks, and sell books. I love all aspects of it, and this fall, the weather and roads were perfect.

I visit with the older readers, who love to read but are plagued with macular degeneration. They are stoic and shrug it off as one of the challenges of aging. I'm inspired by them.

I visit with young readers, who dream of becoming an author, and ask pointed questions on the hows and whys of the publishing world. I realize how the few years I've been in the business has broadened my knowledge.

I visit with folks who have their own story to tell, and are looking for someone who will listen to them. I listen and learn.

I sell books. I gain friends and new readers, and a wealth of experiences I wouldn't trade for the world.

December 2 is the last show of this year. In a small little village filled with folks with big hearts, Christmas in Midland is a beautiful way to begin the Christmas season. The town is mentioned in my Belvidere trilogy several times, and I love talking to them about occurrences in the books that they are familiar with.

check it out

I'm excited to have my book Laughter in the Wind back on the market. The third edition is still the same basic story, but with 1000 less words, it is a faster, more streamlined read. It was my pleasure to make a good book even better.

And right now, Amazon prime has the print book listed for $3.74 with free shipping. You might want to check it out at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F2P8W8D

Winter has settled in on our ranch in SD, and my newest book is finally getting written. More on that later!

Have a good and Godly day!
