Good, but... This story was slow to get moving and then everything happened all at once. It made the story distorted at times. Also, despite being a series about magic, there was barely any in it this time. I wanted to like it more.

Cute and real Usually you read these kinds of stories and the problems that arise are silly. This felt real in the best sense and I really enjoyed it.

So, so good! Anything I say about this book will give too much away and never do it justice. This was such a good story, the worldbuilding, the politics, the romance, all of it threaded together seamlessly. I can't wait to read the next one! ...more

Good ending I really enjoy this series, but this book made me aware that my enjoyment is dependent on how I feel about the couple. While it was a good, solid story, the FMC was a bit too into doubt and clumsiness. The MMC was rude and thoughtless. Bot ...more
