New York told me it was a non-starter and…moreI decided I wanted to set a novel substantially in the physical and psychological world of wounded veterans. New York told me it was a non-starter and advised me to set it aside. Apparently we're mostly a nation of people remote from military service who, never the less, enjoy big splashy action stories and movies. I thought it's time to consider what happens to the guys and gals who get banged up in the action movie! So I wound up putting the book out with a small indie press.(less)
