Leandra Naudé het grootgeword in Utrecht, Noord-Natal en het haar skoolloopbaan in 1993 voltooi. Sy het nog altyd die passie gehad om ’n verskil in die wêreld te maak en het Maatskaplike werk by die Universiteit van Pretoria studeer. Hier het sy ook haar man, Paul, ontmoet. Sy het later haar Meestersgraad voltooi en het elke werk wat sy gehad het, met oormaat energie en passie aangepak. Twee dogters is vir Paul en Leandra gebore, wat tans uiters aktiewe en pragtige jong tieners is, en hulle lewe verryk en baaaaie interessant maak.

Gedurende hierdie baie moeilike tyd het die liefde en ondersteuning van haar man en meisies, asook die boeke wat sy verorber het, haar deur hierdie moeilike tyd getrek. Juis daarom het sy besluit om ‘n boek aan te pak.
Die eerste boek, Reis deur die hart, was haar eie persoonlike reis om haarself as mens en as skrywer te ontdek. Haar karakters het soveel aanklank daarby gevind dat hulle helaas nie wil ophou reis nie. Tans skryf hulle nuwe reise saam.

About the writer
Leandra Naudé grew up in Utrecht, Northern Natal and Matriculated in 1993. She always had a passion to make a difference in the world and studied Social work at the University of Pretoria. She met her husband, Paul, during this time. Later on she completed her Masters degree and approached every job she had with excess energy and passion. Paul and Leandra have two daughters, who are currently very busy and beautiful young teenagers, that enriches their lives and makes it very interesting.
Leandra baptised herself as the “postergirl for burnout” due to the fact that she burned out many times in her career. In 2011, however, she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus and had to resign due to illness. The love and support that she received from her husband and girls and all the books that she could get lost in, gave her strength during this time. That is why she decided to write a book.
Her first book, Reis deur die hart, was her own personal journey to discover herself as a person and as writer. Her characters loved the journey so much that they decided to continue and together they are writing new journeys.
