A.J. (Alyssa Jean) Tamko is a trans female author, and Daughter of the Sun is her first published novel. She was born in Washington D.C., raised in Annapolis, Md, and now lives in Portland, OR.

If I'm having writer's block, I do everything but write. I'll watch some TV, play some online poker or Words with Friends, read a book, get something to eat, go hang out with friends, anything BUT thinking about writing. I find that if I don't try too hard or think about it too much, inspiration will eventually hit me on its own. But, that's just me, not saying this works for everyone. (less)
