Sister Seekers 10 is live!
Finally, after a rough year, I've finished the midway book of my series! :D
Shadows and Hounds Sister Seekers 10
It's my longest book yet, largely due to the intricate lead-up to a complex series of battles and skirmishes. Definitely required to elevate this critical conflict from the first time I wrote it in 2015. ^_^
There's so much that happens... and looking ahead to the next 10 books, it feels a bit like steering a massive battleship toward a more peaceful coast before the next flare-up.
Anyway! I'll be working on a short story for a patron request next, then revising and releasing "Tales of Miurag: Death" in my anthology series.
Then Sister Seekers 11: Rising Guardians!

Big Changes Complete!
Hello!
Feels like I’ve been “in transition” ever since last year, and I guess I have been, all for the benefit of the long-haul after spending a decade adding word count to Word docs.
Once again, I’m starting over, but at a different point on the field. It’s a good thing. 😊

The Complementary Series has begun!
To celebrate this milestone, I’ve published the first of four Tales of Miurag anthologies, The Deepearth.
These were exclusive patron backstories written from 2015-2017 which helped develop the world. With Battle for Manalar finished, these will now compliment the mains series instead of being major spoilers.
Coming Next:
The Desert – by February 2023
The Dragonchild – by June 2023
Death – to be published late 2023 after Sister Seekers 10
Lastly, a bit of bad news (but not too bad):
I didn’t anticipate all this happening so fast. I believed I had time to finished Sister Seekers 9 by December.
However, in October, I suffered an injury requiring treatment beyond simple rest, and I lost several weeks of writing time. Then Sister Seekers was abruptly out of KU, and I was scrambling to follow through with plans.
Presently, Awake in the Dark is 30% complete. I do not have enough time left to finish SS9 for December release. I am prioritizing this manuscript for tentative release in January 2023.

Sons to Keep is a 40K-word novella and the prequel for the Sister Seekers series.
We are introduced to Etaski’s Dark Elves and their underground city of Sivaraus, the first of many settings in the series.
We get a sample of the mature themes to expect in the series. It's written to be an entry point not quite as dark as No Demons But Us. ;)
These events occur a century before the birth of the main protagonist, Sirana, in No Demons But Us.
Their effects still ripple out from the center of a tightly woven tapestry.

He shrugged broad shoulders. “Did you not want to discuss a bodyguard contract?”
“Of course, I do.”
“And with such an agreement in place, would you not prefer to spend some of your waiting outside?”
You’re definitely teasing.
I bit. “Doing what?”
Mourn smiled. "There is much to do in a city this size."

"The Guild's Design" Coming Soon!
I did it! Sister Seekers 7 is written, edited, and in final proofreading and formatting!
The ebook for The Guild's Design will be live by March 15 (or sooner), but the paperback always takes a little extra time.
This has been my fastest and best experience producing a book so far, and I am looking forward to Book 8 already! My goal is to release Battle for Manalar this summer. I'm still moving residences but aim not to waste any time.

Looking Forward to 2022!
I am very excited to announce the completion of my patrons' God Wars book, which I've been working on the last 6 months.
This is my longest single book yet and most challenging due to the size of the cast and the number of years it needed to cover. Oye.
Now! Work begins on Sister Seekers 7, The Guild's Design, to be published in the first quarter of 2022.
My next two releases are SS7 and SS8, The Battle for Manalar, as they are best read together. I will be moving residences in between them, but if all goes well, my goal is to complete SS9, Awake in the Dark, by the end of this year as well.

New Stuff in 2021
Hello! I wanted to drop a couple quick updates here at GoodReads. :)
First:
I published my sixth book in Sister Seekers back in May but was overwhelmed with real-life changes to make a mention of it here. "The Mark of Gold" is the big pay-off book for my second trilogy, and one of my favorites. With the new major character introduced, events are only getting larger from here! :)
Second:
Related, I have made the shift to writing full-time, but the transition was rocky. I've also been writing my sixth God Wars book for my patrons, as I've promised, since they've waited a year to see it. Good news for Sister Seekers, I'm closing in on the finish there!
Third:
After my patron-only book is done, estimated by mid-November, I'll be diving into Sister Seekers #7 and #8, because these books are best read together!
The titles are "The Guild's Design" and "The Battle for Manalar." I plan to write, edit, and publish both of these books in the first half of 2022. I'm very excited!
Fourth:
In the meantime, I've been adding more entries to my World Anvil lore archive for my series each month! https://miurag.etaski.com
We have more Cast members added, as well as a few new Races. I am also planning to open one of the new sections in 2022 to start filling out more about Miurag.
